Playback disabled - video error

If you are seeing an error on a video it is likely that the permissions need to be adjusted for it to be successfully embedded.

YouTube Error

"Watch this video on YouTube. Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner."

To Fix

  • Sign in to YouTube
  • Go to “My videos”
  • Select “edit video” on the problem video
  • Choose “Advanced settings”
  • Make sure the option to “Allow embedding” is ticked
  • Save/update settings
