Using Millstream CMS with your domain name

To use Millstream CMS with your domain name, you need to edit your www record and your root domain record (your domain name, without any prefix such as www).

For example, for the domain name 'example.com.au' you would need to modify your dns entries as shown below:

example.com.au A 122.248.242.241
www.example.com.au CNAME a.lb.cms.io

The root domain's IP address is actually our  redirection server - so if a visitor enters in your domain name without the www, it will immediately redirect them to the www address.

The www address points at our load balancer which distributes the requests across our multiple app servers transparently.

It is imperative the domain name records be set as indicated above.Failure to do so may cause your site to be inaccessible.

You must notify Millstream of any domain names you are pointing at our servers so that we can enable your site to work with the new domain name.
